Media expert Claudia Coffey joins the Actors Center for Training to teach professionals in the areas of public speaking, interview preparation, media training. Available for private coaching and group classes.
Claudia Coffey is an Emmy Award winning journalist and TV host. Claudia’s career spans more than 20 years and across 8 states. In that time, she’s covered and witnessed some of America’s key moments in history including the administrations of two presidents, in the eye of one of the country’s most devastating hurricanes, along the sidelines of the Super Bowl and on the red carpet with the biggest stars.
Currently, Claudia is a television personality that can be found doing everything from cooking with celebrity chefs, interviewing musicians, athletes and hosting an entertainment show. Claudia’s ease with a variety of reporting styles and versatility has helped her in front of the camera for both CBS News and Fox News in Washington, DC. When she was not covering hard hitting news, she was tapped to report from the Super Bowl, world premiere movies and host shows from Mardi Gras for The Travel Channel.
Claudia has created a customized media training plan based on her own experiences and work with leading consultants, other actors and news personalities. It’s through this program that students, athletes and actors can learn to be their “true self” in front of the camera, during presentations, in interviews and on auditions. She teaches finding that confidence, channeling anxiety and projecting the role you were meant to be in all aspects of life.
Claudia received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. She graduated with a dual major in Political Science and Journalism. Claudia has a M.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus on International Relations from Georgetown University.
