Ages 12–18 | Sundays | 4:30–7 PM Sessions Begin September 13 For the performer who never stops performing. Already auditioning? Rehearsing? Performing throughout the year? We get it. Finding time for additional development can be difficult when you're already living a busy performance life. That's why we've created a different way to keep growing. Our weekly Teen Musical Theatre sessions focus on all 3 disciplines (acting, singing, dancing) while students continue to perform, collaborate, and create. Weekly sessions focus on: • Acting technique, character development, and storytelling • Vocal technique and musical theatre performance • Song interpretation and audition skills • Connecting acting, singing, and movement • Collaboration and creative development • Learning Choreography quickly and how to perform via movement • Preparing for auditions and performance opportunities PERIODIC DANCE INTENSIVES- at a discounted rate! Rather than adding another weekly commitment, students participate in focused Dance Intensives throughout the year. Students work intensively on dance technique and musical theatre movement, then leave with an individualized development plan to practice between intensives. First Dance Intensive: September 18–20 CREATE Students won't just perform someone else's work. Throughout the year, they will have opportunities to collaborate on original musical theatre, developing ideas, characters, scenes, songs, and stories and bringing them to life. A spring showing of our work will be open to the public PERFORM Students will have real opportunities to put their development into practice through: • Original works • Showcases • Cabaret-style performances • Professional video projects These experiences give students the opportunity to create, collaborate, perform, and begin building a body of work. COLLEGE + SUMMER PROGRAM PREPARATION As students begin preparing for college musical theatre programs, summer intensives, and pre-professional opportunities, they will have access to individualized support with selecting audition materials, coaching, and professional filming for prescreens and submissions. Students don't have to wait until application season to begin preparing for what's next. BUILT FOR THE PERFORMER WHO IS ALREADY IN MOTION. You don't have to choose between performing and developing.
